A Lovely Hotel with Great Family Rooms!

Location

The A-Train is situated opposite Central Station in the heart of Amsterdam, just a minute away from Damrak, one of the main streets and very close to Dam Square.

Hotel/Room Information

The hotel is family run and the attention to detail, personalized service and general ambience about the hotel is second to none.  The hotel was fully renovated in 2003
It is a charming hotel with the 'train' theme running consistently throughout the building.
The lobby is small and narrow but since but recently refurbished and attractive with a mahogany effect reception desk.
The bedrooms are bright, modern, smart and tastefully decorated and this overall product is highly recommended. The hotel also offers quaint family rooms that can sleep 2 adults and 2 kids with mezzanine-style split level bedrooms.  The bathrooms have a shower only.
 

Restaurant / Bar

The breakfast room echoes the design of a train carriage with overhead luggage racks for effect.  This room is an extension of the lobby and serves breakfast only.  The hotel does not have a bar and has a strict no smoking policy.
