A Modern Floating Hotel

The Amstel Botel is a floating hotel.

It is moored on the northern bank of the river Ij opposite Central Station, and during the day a ferry service (free) operates between the hotel and Central Station taking around 10 minutes while at night there is a free shuttle bus service to/ from Central Station.

This colourful and vital dockside area now houses workshops and artists' studios, hip cafes and restaurants, exhibitions and performances. Among others the media wharf houses MTV, Robodock, and the IJ-festival.
