Location

The Barcelona Universal Hotel is a lovely 4 star property, although the immediate area is a bit rundown.
It is about a 10 – 15 minute walk to the Ramblas, but there are bars and restaurant in the immediate vicinity.

Hotel / Room Information

The foyer and reception area to the Barcelona Universal Hotel is quite large with a comfortable seating area.  It is styled in a chrome and dark wooden finish.
The bedrooms are decorated in a ‘Scandinavian’ minimalist style with wooden floors and the bathrooms are well appointed and impeccably kept.

The hotel also boasts an outdoor swimming pool located on the roof of the hotel with stunning views of the city.
There is also a gym and solarium.

Restaurant / Bar

The bar area is situated just off the reception in the foyer of the hotel while the restaurant serves a selection of European and Spanish dishes.
