Savour the world-famous quintessentially Parisian experience of a superb cabaret show at the Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin.  The faint hearted amoung you should note that these shows are a celebration of the female form and most of the acts are performed topless. The price for Dinner are Show start from €123 or show only from €85.

Food

Paris is the gourmet capital of Europe, and is renowned for its expensive haute cuisine restaurants as much as its moderately priced bistros and cafés (expect to spend about €80 per couple for a meal with drinks).

Shopping

Having practically invented fashion, Parisians still set their own trends and let the rest of the world follow.

The Golden Triangle, where Avenue Montaigne, Champs-Elysees and Avenue Georges V meet, is the haute-couture centre of the city, while the nearby rue St-Etienne Marcel might have you rethinking your entire wardrobe!

High-street fashions can be found on Rue de Rivoli and Les Halles where all the global brands hang out.

Rue de Rennes has a reputation that is a bit exaggerated, but the smaller streets around it – Rue D’Assas, Rue Bonaparte and Rue Cherche Midi – all contain chic little emporiums that should satisfy anybody serious about fashion.

If you want to look at a real cabinet of curiosities, visit Talamaris, 61 Avenue Mozart where you’ll find everything from antique china to scented stationary to children’s toys.

For perfumes head to Editions de Parfums, 37 Rue de Grenelle, where the latest scents are available.

And then keep your eyes peeled for Charvet, the finest shirtmakers in the city.

The city's main department stores are Le Bon Marche and La Grande Epicerie, both on Rue de Sevres. Galeries Lafayette, 40 Boulevard Haussmann, offers you 9 floors of shopping while Printemps, 64 Boulevard Haussmann is well woth a visit.

If You Do One Thing in Paris...

Landmark - Make sure it’s the Eiffel Tower, the city’s most famous landmark.

Museum - If not, then visit the Louvre.

Church - See Notre Dame Cathedral.

Airport to City Information

The main airport in Paris is Roissy-Charles de Gualle.
The airport is connected to the Gare du Nord in the city centre from Terminal 2 on a regular basis by RER.
There is also the Roissybus, which terminates at Opera - the bus leaves every 15-20 minutes and journey time is 35 minutes. Alternatively you can hire a taxi at the airport for your journey to your hotel.

Ryanair fly into Beauvais Airport which is located 60 km from Paris City Centre.
At Paris-Beauvais airport, every service leaves approximatively 20 minutes after each flight arrival and go into Porte Maillot.
The tickets - 13 Euros cash only / one way - must be purchased at the bus ticket sale point, outside the airport.

From PARIS (Porte Maillot) To PARIS/BEAUVAIS
The departure from Paris is located at the bus park on the Boulevard Pershing, near the hotel Concorde Lafayette.
Show up 3 hours 15 before your flight departure time.
